Robot Armor Cage Match in the Works

The Lockheed Martin HULC may be in for some competition from “Iron Man,” the name some media have given to the XOS-2, a Raytheon product that’s muscling in on the exoskeleton business.

As we all know, Exoskeletons are a safe alternative for steroids. So why should'nt soldiers use them?

The problem I see with exosuits is that they seems to be quite prone to damage and environmental hazards, kinda like a track in a tank.

Most of the ones I see have several large power cables going to them. I see the biggest problem being energy usage and storage. I mean my cell phone cant go a day and a half without charging and all it really does is power a small lcd touch screen. These thingsa re lifting 200 lbs and whatnot. I expect energy storage limitations to be the real problem. They can make them stronger, but the batteries to power them for more than an hour or two at a time are going to be hard to develop.
