pseudogiant hands down, although slower than the second coming.

Chimera, ha! Eliminator and less than a full drum to down one.

Burers, easy, with close contact of blade/several times mind you, Lol.

Snorks, Eliminator or blade.

Hamsters, well they're a gnarly bunch of pain, if there's enough of them.

Dogs/pseudodogs, only in vast numbers, however the Eliminator does take a shit-kickin'.

Creepy-Bloodsuckers, uh Eliminator/Blades? I usually snipe for giggles, just to watch them squirm LOL!!

Controllers, only if they see me first, I have a problem. Otherwise I run and Blade them. Or run away screaming like a little girl.

There are so many mentions of blades there that I instantly thought of the slogan from the old Remington shaver ads on TV: "Shaves as close as a blade or your money back"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC2Th4PVhDg

lol at the thought of chasing a Burer around with an Electric Shaver

I can seriously imagine walking out of the Skadvosk, only to see a lone STALKER armed with nothing but an electric shaver, chasing a Bloodsucker across the landscape. "Wait, come back" the STALKER is yelling, "I only want to shave your belly!"*

Man alive, that would make a good story to tell the other STALKERs around the firebin!

*Keep in mind that in The Zone, there are probably no powerpoints and extension leads, so unless that shaver or Fuzz Away takes batteries - and not the artifact type of Battery either - he is screwed if he does manage to catch the Bloodsucker!

indeed, simple recovery system, if only they done the same thing with the choppers in COP, Degtyarev wouldn't of needed to go in. but we wouldn't have got a game out of it so...

Well, I just did Trapper's Chimera quest and I must say, it was difficult.

The main reason it was difficult for me is because I haven't faced many of them. I don't know their tactics well. I don't have much practice fighting them.

I think the one me and the 2 stalkers killed at the playground was wounded or half dead. It was not nearly as strong as this Trapper one.

So, I tried to go up the ladder at the Vent building, but when I did, the chimera ran around to the other side of the building and I couldn't hit him for anything.

Out in the open, he can jump 40-50 feet, so at his jump point, he is out of shotgun range (shot). Plus, when he lands near you, his size changes to that of a gerbil, and I can't find him. lol

I went back and replayed it a number of times and the quickest I could drop him was when I used the grenade launcher on the SGI-5K whilst running for my life.

He can jump over fences and any other objects, so using them as a shield really didn't help.

At first, I thought I was going to have to go underground to get him because I was underground there earlier in the day and saw the caverns. I said to myself, oh man, I'm going to have to come down here at night. LOL

Anyway, this is a tough monster. The other day, I saw one at Zaton jump on stalkers and crush them to death. But then again, I've seen them take one dog bite and drop like rags.

Most dangerous mutant in CoP ...

I went to where the Chimera is supposed to be. Ran over to the
Minefield and waited in front of the sign. The Chimera leaped over me
and landed on a Mine. KABOOM! No more Chimera. No shot fired by me.

Psuedo Giant has to be the hardest in the game. You don't see many of them until you finish the game and continue on. You will usually find one near Yanov Station (Or at least I do). If you can stay at a far enough distance with a Gause Rifle or a PKM it's going down fast.
