Is it possible to remove AF3 from the mod ? I don't really like it.
---END QUOTATION---

AF3 is good but as option

Maybe the integration is too deep.....so they can't, without releasing 2 different versions of CoC.

Hi, I'm using your wonderful MOD, I would change some features in system.ltx (the maximum transportable weight).
I unzipped the file with extractor.exe and then I copied the new system.ltx in \gamedata \config, but loading the MOD I receive a number of errors ( files #include not found).

I do something wrong or I just can not modify files?

Thanks

I'm having problems with actor.ltx - could it be that once unpacked and altered the db files must be repacked?

I'm going to try with COC's or another packer.

It doesn't need repacking. Just add the tweaked files to CoC like you would when adding a mod to COP.

EDIT:

I just did a walk weight change by tweaking and adding the unpacked actor.ltx and system.ltx files, Then I loaded a game and it works fine.

---QUOTATION---
Second question: what is the "technician feature" ?
---END QUOTATION---

Repairs and upgrades take time, basically you hand over the weapon and come back for it later. 1 upgrade at a time.

Thanks for replying and sorry for being dim.
Do you leave the unpacked and [original] packed db's in the "resource" folder" and just alter the unpacked? I would normally unpack to a created gamedata and delete the db's.

COC has a gamedata folder which contains a configs folder so I created a creatures folder within adding the altered [jump height] actor.ltx and it crashed.

The fsgame_coc.ltx is a bit different but I added the weapon overheating mod with only minor additions and changes from standard. Files were read from \scripts, \textures\... and \configs\... with no issues.

It would be "gamedata\configs" (plural form).

Thanks, I've just noticed that the "$game_data" in fsgame.ltx that I altered to "true" is commented out and appears again 7 lines later:\

All working now, thanks again.

Hmm, the installer does not seem to want to find my CoP installation. I am using Windows 7 64-bit, and I own the boxed version of the game. Is there a workaround for this?
