Call of Chernobyl mod (Official Thread)

CoC 1.4.22 - AO 3.1 / Outfit Addon 1.4.7 / Fast Travel v 1.5 / Better NV / Sell Damaged Weapons / Stashes from SoC & CS for 1.4.22. At the main base where my Companions are parked and with a squad of Loners to protect them, I decided to enjoy the Truck Cemetery at it's fullest with artifact hunting, mutant removal and some Faction interaction with Bandits, Military and Monolith. It's the last group I met that rewarded me with a very nice prize for my troubles. The Truck Cemetery has been good to me this trip.

CoC 1.4.22 - AO 3.1 / Outfit Addon 1.4.7 / Fast Travel v 1.5 / Better NV / Sell Damaged Weapons / Stashes from SoC & CS for 1.4.22. This video picks right up where I left off, at the Merc Camp in the Agroprom Train Tunnel. As I was indecisive before where to go next, I decided to take care of that single ordinary task on my PDA by a "Revenge Kill" in the Truck Cemetery. While there I had several activated stashes to loot.

This video actually ran longer but when I jumped back to Rostok, my Game either froze or was taking too long to load ( too many large stashes ) so I had to force it closed. This resulted in a shorter video. I've now decided to re-start that last shown scenario and spend longer in the Truck Cemetery for a Part 2 that I haven't created yet.

CoC 1.4.22 - AO 3.1 / Outfit Addon 1.4.7 / Fast Travel v 1.5 / Better NV / Sell Damaged Weapons / Stashes from SoC & CS for 1.4.22. Ready to leave the Marshes with my Loot, I forgot to take my Companions. This actually turned out okay as I needed to pick up the other Loot I had left behind in the Cordon and this gave me a chance to grab the two promised weapons for the crew at the Pump Station.

After delivering them the weapons, and making sure I got activated stashes through reloads, I prompted my Companions to join me in Rostok. There I unloaded various loot like mutants parts, artifacts, ammo and other items and I looted two activated stashes in Rostok too. Notice how the entire Duty squad at the southern checkpoint has been wiped out.

Next I made a quick Fast Travel jump to the Merc Camp in the Agroprom Train Tunnel. Again I had to reload my manual save to get the stingy Mercenary to give me an activated stash. With only a single task left on my PDA ( other than the X-Labs ) I tried to see if I could jump directly to the the Truck Cemetery, but the Fast Travel icon could not be accessed because the PDA job was right on top of it. I looked over all my choices to jump to in the Zone and could not decide quickly so I ended the recording.

CoC 1.4.22 - AO 3.1 / Outfit Addon 1.4.7 / Fast Travel v 1.5 / Better NV / Sell Damaged Weapons / Stashes from SoC & CS for 1.4.22. This video picks up right where Part 2 ended. After leaving the Clear Sky Base, an Emission happens at the Fishing Village. Then a quick stop at the Pump Station and then to the Marshes Church and northward to the Machine Yard to wipe out the Military with sniper fire. After that, some activated stashes, a quick dump of the ammo and selling loot by Fast Travel. A jump to the Northern Farmstead for the last two of the 13 activated Marshes stashes. A stop by the Southern Farmstead, Marshes Church and lastly back to the Pump Station.

CoC 1.4.22 - AO 3.1 / Outfit Addon 1.4.7 / Fast Travel v 1.5 / Better NV / Sell Damaged Weapons / Stashes from SoC & CS for 1.4.22. This video picks up right where Part 1 ended. While the video contains the usual artifact hunting and attacks on the Bandits at the Boat House and the Military at the Sunken Village, it is notable for studying the fast Travel Mod I added. It is convenient for times when you're overloaded with loot and want to cut out the tedious travel, it has other side effects.

Namely how there is hesitation of NPCs to load at locations until you get away from them slightly. Also this video shows how when I first walked to the Pump Station it was empty and then a Psi Storm hit. I got messages of an attack at the Fishing Village, where my Companions were parked and in the middle of the that, I attempted to rescue them. I found them all dead except one after killing the Bandit. I had failed to leave them on "Defensive" mode and had left them on "Passive" I believe.

This shows one of the downsides to Companions that they can be killed, even in a place where you think they are far enough away to be off-line. I should have left them at the Clear Sky Base since it never gets attacked by Bandits. Of course I didn't want them to be dead, so I loaded an earlier Manual Save which, as can happen on any loaded Manual Save now I had 2 Bloodsuckers to fight. I then used Fast Travel to jump back to the Fishing Village before the Psi Storm hit. I was able to kill the Bandit when he attempted to seek shelter. A later trip to the Pump Station showed it empty again but stepping away loaded 3 Friendlies. A moment later 2 more Bandits appeared and I turned around to dispatch them quickly. Expect the unexpected when using Fast Travel to bounce around.

CoC 1.4.22 - AO 3.1 / Outfit Addon 1.4.7 / Fast Travel v 1.5 / Better NV / Sell Damaged Weapons / Stashes from SoC & CS for 1.4.22. left the Cordon and arrived at the Southern Farmstead in the Marshes. I've got 13 activated stashes and I'm still looking to find a Svarog Detector which I have yet to see. It's Day 71 in my Game.

Day 71 and still have not found a Svarog Detector. My previous Game that didn't have any added Mods, I found one within the first few days. I wonder when I will find one.

Red Forest Follies ( Part 5 of 5 ) The last section of video with more action in the Red Forest. At the beginning you can see me find the mine shaft opening with my binoculars from the top of the elevator tower. I make a Fast Travel jump to the Devilish Encampment and immediately I'm attacked by a Pseudogiant. I do a little artifact hunting near the Tank and back to the elevator right before an Emission hits.
