Post process bugs|
First I noticed that anti aliasing in dx11 and dx10 both have some issues. For some reason it creates black outlines around certain objects. Also you can see the anti aliasing through fog even when you can't see the actual object, you just see the anti aliased edge. Also the AA seems to have blind spots where some edges are still jaggy.
Also, Depth of Field has blind spots. The effect is patchy and some areas of the image remain unblurred. Or rather they're blurred but the edges are sharp and not blurred. I tested this with and without anti aliasing on and it remains a problem either way.
These are both post processing effects, so I'm wondering if there's something wrong with how it applies the effects. Or maybe one of the options is conflicting with AA and DOF. I have scoured the internet and I only saw ONE topic about the AA problem (with no solution other than 1.6.01 did not have this issue) and none about the DOF. Certainly I can't be the only one who notices this issue. I've had many different GPUs and 2 different desktops that all have had this issue. However my GPUs are all Nvidia.
If anyone can help me figure this out I'd be very happy as I can finally use AA because I've upgraded to a 970 GTX, but the damn AA still is glitchy.
If you need me to take some screenshots I can.
