while the game itself is decent looking (I really am not that impressed by its graphics), the fact that I am unable to remove the crosshair is (unfortunately) a gamebreaker to me; now don't get me wrong - I don't care if every single individual in the entire Universe plays with crosshair; but forcing everyone to do it is just idiotic
it gets in my way; plain and simple - it distracts me from the ongoing action and since there's ironsights in the game; I don't want to have any crosshair blocking my view
Is anyone able to Mod Survarium? Is there no Game Menu options to change settings?
TS ---END QUOTATION---
there is a Game Menu options screen, but alas it offers very little;
Crosshair options (static is the only possible choice, which does not function on my computer)
Minimap options ('Fix' minimap)
Minimap position (Upper Left/Lower Left/Off <--- thankfully it can be turned off)
Task accomplishment options
Transparency 0.3 -> 1.0 (changes certain aspects of the HUD (not crosshair))
apart from those 'game options', there's the usual Graphics/Sound/Controls
I've yet to find any kind of .ini file or similar (I've checked the appdata, as well as install directory; and do note I'm using Total Commander with 'show hidden files')
I don't think it will be very mod-friendly, due to it being MultiPlayer, however (which would make sense)
An update for the game was released a couple days ago; it prepares the game for the coming character stabilizability (putting the game on track for its timeline?), as well as working with netcode and ui elements. The connection is a pretty bad right now, and matches are often empty--tomorrow a new patch is supposed to roll out to rectify this.
Game appears optimized for some players, but the game still uses 100% of my GPU no matter my settings. I had to downclock my overclock as the game pushed my card too hard compared to anything else I've played.
Matches have gone down to 5v5 from 10v10. I'm hoping the coming patch improves this, as many maps now feel quite empty. Before, teams often split into smaller groups to cover more ground on a map, but now, many stay in one tight group and try and rush through only one side of a map.
