what improvements should stalker 2 have ?

just finished call of pripyat for the third time and i love it, my favourite in the series and the most bug free but SOC has the best story, cant wait for stalker 2 !! this time played it with the COP complete mod and in DX11 and this gave the game a liitle difference compared to the previous playthroughs, let me know what u gamers think

Hello, Well thats not an easy question to answer. Using the word "better" is a bit of an oxymoron(I think that makes sense?). Of course we all want everything to be better, but what is better, who decides that, everyone likes different things and has different ideas on how it could be improved and for that reason my answer is: As long as it is new, entertaining and lasts a lot longer than Cop and also has some thought provoking and scary moments added it will be great for me. And of course no ctd's.

EDIT: And like some-one else mentioned a while back I hope it stays with the events we know and does not create an alternate set of events in order to ease the introduction to the multi-platform audience

In my opinion, the STALKER series as a whole is about environment. Without that, it's just an FPS set in a shithole. What STALKER could benefit from is what it is already extraordinary in; environment.

I think far larger interconnected levels would be nicer too, maybe the whole underground system is connected as one large network maze like structure right out of the most nightmarish pits in hell.

Better voice acting and none of the cutesy voice that is in Call of Pripyat, "howdy ho". Suits that have night vision. Only three armours that have night vision in Call of Pripyat of the Tier Three Armours. Defiantly keep with the little or no bug (is such a thing possible) trend. Get rid of the hints during the game load. (Who does not know what button to push for Night Vision or run?) If you are going to block the gamer from arming ourselves when leaving camp, then deal with the mutants that are outside the door. (A guard ignored two Zombies and a horde of mutants.) Enough for now.

PS Please do not make the next game a Play Station game by requiring a lot of jumping!

Well, in my opinion -- all of the mentioned. Furthermore, inducing new weapons and armor is also a good thing because it stretches a game and makes it more flexible (I am not talking about weapons that look sparkling clean and modern, Metro 2033 is a good example how post-apocalyptic weapons should look like... I've seen some mods that add weapons which couldn't have made it into the Zone even if God Himself send it there.). But the most important thing is certainly what "Mobius" wrote:

All of the above(except maybe the Engine...when I look at Call of Pripyat I am graphically/technologically satisfied), if possible because : Variatio delectat....Variation is delightful.

Furthermore some more things that would blow the top off the hat: Co-oP

1:
I just thought yesterday about it, how very amazing it would be to roam around in the zone as a team, because its not just about being heroic and doing it all alone.
How awesome would it be to check an Anomaly field while a friend of yours is watching your back, or going into a warehouse of Bandits with friends watching covering you (given you might be utilizing TS/Ventrilo/Mumble/XFire phone/...)

2:
Make the next Stalker-game hard.
And I mean REALLY BONEBREAKING SWEATDRIVING NERVEKILLING HARD, pretty please with icing on top of it. (for reference: Narodnaja Soljanka...hardness level: be very very very frustration resilient and enduring)

3:
Keep up your niveau of landscape detailing/atmosphere creation/nerve-wracking intensity.
When I play any of the 3 Stalker games, I feel the dedication you guys at GSC put into them, please keep up that loving.

4:
Keep up the moddability, it will absolutely keep your game desirable for a very long long time.
