Its a memory related issue. Its not being caused by Stalker, but rather by the underlying OS. Stalker is just reporting it.
You're probably running out of available memory space while running DX10, try turning down some of your graphics settings.
Memory allocation is rather odd. The computer looks for a large enough free chunk, and then uses a random part of it. This has the interesting side effect of having lots of chunks with free space between them. So even if at the time of the crash, your computer is showing xGB of memory free, it doesn't mean there is a chunk of memory xGB free in size. The largest free memory chunk might only be 4MB in size, and Stalker might be requesting a chunk of memory 6MB in size. Since there isn't a free 6MB memory chunk, the OS reports the error ([error][ 8] : Not enough storage is available to process this command.), and Stalker throws it back at you since it doesn't know what to do with it.
Hey Seta, tnx for reply , well my game runs 60 fps when maxed out, i seen that others have same issue with stalker and other games. After some Windows update they got same crash as i did, so i read if u delete that update it will work fine, so i did delete it but haven't tried it yet , didn't have much free time.
So i ll check it tomorrow if it's solved
Reporting back and it seems that windows update was causing crash, i deleted the update and played Clear Sky and it didn't crash.
