The sky.. Not so clear? D:

Just thought about posting this. It's odd.. whenever I look at the sky, on static lighting (crappy nVidea ftl.. 7300 =\) The sky isn't visible. If I look at a tree, then to the sky, it appears that it makes a "trail" of tree's in the sky.

And when I have objects dynamic lighting (frame rate drop.. ftl) the sky is REALLY yellow.

Strangely.. the same thing happened in SoC. Any way to fix? :\

I had the same thing when I returned from Cordon (near the military outpost) back to the swamps. I found that if I did a quick save and then immediately reloaded, it fixed it.

The obvious pattern here is that your video cards are the crap versions of the 7 series. The same problem occurred with STALKER: SoC.

There may be a work around however. Try using older graphics drivers
I would jump back quite a few drivers if I were you guys, perhaps go back to the 9x.xx drivers and beyond.
Sure its sounds silly, but your graphics cards are not that great at all, and if you're using the latest drivers, there may be some sortof incompatibility or something.

Just try it, if it doesn't work..well, buy a new graphics card, or run in windowed mode...

Well that is not the issue Natace, i run 2 BFG GTX280 1G OC video card in SLI mode and when ever i travel to the Swamp from Cordon i see the tree graphic in the sky and when i move it makes a trail all over it (it also happens some times when travel from Garbage to Dark Valley). The only way to get rid of the buggy sky is to Q-save and then Q-load, but that is not a thing you should have to do with a new game.

(i have all new drivers for my soft ware and hard ware)

my video card is built in my laptop which i dont plan to replace for quite a while as its not a primary game.

i dont mind turning down the detail to play the game.

regardless.
it works fine in windowed mode
but not full screen

that tells me it should not be the drivers
but the way gsc wrote the code.

never had the problem in SoC.
and my drivers are not new at all.
just the newest dell has put put.

Here's a thread that should help if I'm not mistaken.
