SoundEFX pack

BETA mod - current version: 0.5b

Description:
This sound pack replaces/tweaks many game sounds, specifically object collision sounds, actor sounds and mutant sounds. All sounds have been heavily edited and properly commented.

This is still a beta pack - feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Download: [link]http://cid-17f7963fd18be4ce.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/SoundEFX.zip[/link] (this will have to do ATM . . . with FF's demise looming)

Credits: All sounds used in this pack have been obtained from various legit sources available free to the public on the internet. Some sounds included with this pack were originally from FEAR, available via the FEAR Public Tools SDK released by Monolith Productions.
Much thanks and appreciation also goes out to the many users of [link]http://www.soundsnap.com/[/link] for making their recordings available for free to the general public.

*note* finalization of these sounds are not done yet, and most (if not all) will go through further editing and adjustment, both of the audio file itself, and the comments that affect it's playback in-game. Feedback will be much welcomed and appreciated, everything from suggestions and criticisms, to opinions and what-not else.

Good idea using Windows Live for webspace, I never even knew that feature was there!

I have mirrored it too if you need it:

What's the sound bitrate for these files?

P.S.: Can you upload better sound files for your LURK level files? Like 120-150kbps? They're awesome, if only I had higher Q versions. Looking forward to downloading this!

What do you mean for LURK? Are you sure you're thinking of the correct sound mod?

I haven't done anything specific for the LURK mod, and if any of my sounds were used, it's possible they might have re-commented them.

As for bitrate . . . well, the original .wav are all over 700kbps . . . commenting them (which converts the raw files to .ogg) drops quality a bit, but I haven't heard where the final music/sound files were that poor of quality - especially considering I've been overly meticulous with the audio quality in the past (although, I could've have easily missed something) . . . I'll look into it, though.

If you do defi want higher-quality level musics, I can send the raw files back through the SDK with a higher converted quality setting . . .

I thought LURK's music was from your Sound EFX mod. Ahyways, it would be awesome if you could send me higher bitrate files. LURK's can drop below 40's which is pretty bad.

I'll try - I might have to host them somewhere for you to D/L . . . the rawdata folder for just the few I had put together is nearly 400MB.
