SNIPER MOD & ZOOM SCOPES v0.9
------------------------------

This mod is all about sniper experience and marksman realism.
It's not about weapon ballistics however, everything this mod does is pure "feeling".



Features:

- 6 Unique Sniper Rifles with zoom scopes (3 new rifles taken from the ARSENAL mod)
|-- Dragunov SVD "Assassin" (2-16x)
|-- HK 417 Sniper (2-8x)
|-- FN-2000TAC IFF "Experimental"
|-- MI Galil Sniper (2-6x)
|-- Knights SR-25 Mk.11 Mod.0 (2-8x)
|-- Gauss Prototype Railgun (2-32x)

- Zoom scopes ranging from 2-6x, 2-8x, 2-16x and a special insane 32x
- New scope GFX
- Unsteadyness during Zooming depending on what position you have. i.e. freestand vs. crouch vs. lowcrouch.



WHERE TO GET THEM?
------------------
- Duty & Freedom traders do have one of the new rifletypes each (Gallil & SR-25)
- Barman sells 3 rifles, 2 for sure, 1 rare (HK417, SR25 and a unique SVD)
- Scientist might sell the 2 rare experimentals (FN2000 with tactical overlay you know from binoculars & a prototype gauss which is insane).

NOTE: you can use this with any saved game. No need for starting a new game.



UNSTEADYNESS WHILE ZOOMING

i know. you might not be used to it and therefore might not like it. i might make a "anti unsteadyness" patch for you counterstrikers. but honestly if you ever had a scoped weapon in your hand and targeted freestand you'll know that there it is nothing like in vanilla SoC. you just dont have a tripod in your arms. and moving while looking through a scope is a no-go.
the current settings for all sniper rifles reflect that unsteadyness during zoom when you do anything else than low-crouch.
most of the assault rifles with scope however did not get touched. it's not that easy because changeing the PDM_ values for all scope rifles mean - no more hip shooting with them. so in future updates i might just reduce their zoom power, and add unsteadyness while zooming to all the scope rifles i didnt implement zoom for (like the vintorez). otherwise useing a rifle from this pack might feel obsolete for you.
but again, its purely for pleaseing the assassins heart :>

INSTALLATION (vanilla SoC):
---------------------------

1) backup your "xrGame.dll" which is in the "bin\" subdirectory of your game directory and copy the "xrGame.dll" from this archive's bin folder to your "bin\" folder. Don't forget to backup, if you wanna get rid of the mod somedays. The new "xrGame.dll" just enables the Zoom for rifle scopes.

2) copy the "gamedata" folder to your SoC directory. (if any file conflicts you should merge! do not just overwrite these or the other. You'll most certainly break stuff. All files of this mod are essential for its function (excl. some textures))

3) copy the "gamedata" folder from the PATCHES/vanilla folder to your SoC folder.

INSTALLATION FOR OL2.2 + ARSENAL RC1.1
---------------------------------------

1) copy the "xrGame.dll" from the bin\ folder to your "bin\" folder.

2) copy the "gamedata" folder over your's in your SoC directory. (optional since most of it comes from ol+arsenal. you might want to have the new scopes found in an own directory)

3) copy the "PATCHES/ol2.2+arsenal/gamedata" folder over again in your SoC folder. This should overwrite all the essential files that got merged with OL2.2 + ARSENAL

INSTALLATION FOR SUPERMODPACK FOR OL2.2 BY WOLFEHUNTER
------------------------------------------------------

1) copy the "xrGame.dll" from the bin\ folder to your "bin\" folder.

2) copy the "gamedata" folder over your's in your SoC directory. (optional since most of it comes from ol+arsenal. you might want to have the new scopes found in an own directory)

3) copy the "PATCHES/supermod_ol2.2/gamedata" folder over again in your SoC folder. This should overwrite all the essential files that got merged with OL2.2 + ARSENAL

INSTALLATION FOR ARSENAL RC1.1
---------------------------------------

1) copy the "xrGame.dll" from the bin\ folder to your "bin\" folder.

2) copy the "gamedata" folder over your's in your SoC directory. Overwrite all files!

3) copy the "PATCHES/arsenal_rc1/gamedata" folder over again in your SoC folder. This should overwrite all the essential files that got merged with ARSENAL

Pardon my noobness... but do these instructions work with the vanilla Oblivion Lost 2.2 (I don't know which version of Arsenal it has) or do I need to do something else instead? thanks!

OL2.2 does not contain Arsenal mod.

Yes, there are readmes/patches to install this on top of vanilla OL2.2.
