The main objective of this fashion, one based on the FreePlay Start, - to create the most lively virtual zone, the ability to dynamically grow, without any presets and scripted scenes that responds to the player's actions in real time. Now, imagine a gang war of ERs, but where every stalker is different, and not just his life at war, but also is looking for artifacts, hunting, exploring the zone, moving from location to location, and more. And in a certain condition, the very process of stalking, with him and all kinds befall alteration. A clan of stalkers much - and long, and Liberty, and the mercenaries and the military, and the Monolith - they basically fight each other while walking neutrals myself and E-Life is peaceful. About mutants and do not say - they have an entire food chain, bickering over territory, sleep, some awake at night ... mostly

IN CONCLUSION:

- Total freeplay
- Choose your faction, with different loadouts.
- All stuff is rebalanced
- Totally random spawns, you don't know what to expect
- Has a lot of similarities and additions from old builds
- Pretty much everything is different. You really don't know what to expect.

Comes with 2 versions! DESPAIR version is graphic-wise pretty much just like Misery mod for COP, and Oblivion Lost version totally captures the atmosphere of the old builds, it also has anomalies and sounds from builds too!

This one is worth a try. It scared me so much in Pripyat, I just turned the game off, literally... And you don't know what to expect at any moment, and WATCH OUT FOR THE DAMN GRANADES!

Optional Changes Addon:

Done by the mod author not me, I just translated the folder's of the options and uploaded to mediafire.

Every change in a separate folder (installation optional)
- Guitar music for mercenaries
- Cartridges on the belt
- Detectors on the belt, not in your hand
- hardcore stuff (less ammo, artifacts etc)
- Added sounds to-eat foods, medicines and other
- Increased the prices of things by 2 times,
- Changed Weight to (40/50)
- A-Life is replaced by a normal (stalkers are sitting in camps as before)
- Added a "stalker relations mod" instead of the original system of relationships fashion:

1) Change the system of relations between groups of stalkers (monolith, bandits, military, etc.) to each other, which allows, under certain conditions to make the neutrals gang member or a friend,
2) Added a small change in the relationship groups when the ratio to any of its members,
3) added an amendment in respect of the reputation and rank of the actor and the character,
4), the possibility of getting a reputation for helping not only neutrals and friends, but also enemies,
5) Change the system's reputation.

EDIT - In the AP-RU page there was talk of the ammo on belt option causing crashes so you may want to leave that one out.

News Translation v.1

here is a rough first translation of the news-system for this mod
there will be some incoherence in the messages, but you should all be able to get the basics of what is going on in The Zone

I am considering cleaning this up and trying to make more sense of it, but nothing I can guarantee

if anyone feel like they want to clean up the language, feel free to do so, as long as I'm given credit somewhere in there

here is version 2 of the Minimalistic HUD - this version features more immersion as well as removal of the binocular targeting-system - now you need to look closely with the binoculars to see if anyone's out there and whether they are friend or foe
