Hi Vintar, I got your mail

I took it a bit further with the suits: the problem that I saw was that the "modified" suits created a problem with trading... and quest suits (Ghost's suit, Nimble's perfected bandit jacket, etc.) also risked getting messed up. I can't seem to fix this entirely but the workaround is to make the equipped suit a quest item and restore it to it's normal version when taken off. This prevents the equipped suit from being sold, dropped or transferred to a stash. Some workarounds for the Arena were needed.

I think this works really well. The only big issue still unresolved is updating the outfit on the fly as artifacts are moved to/from belt. If I do that it will interfere with the right-click menus for inventory items... dunno if there's a way to solve it.

This variant is made for Night Stars but should be easy enough to modify for other artifacts and even combinations... the included tool can generate the necessary sections based on what you select in the tool's config file.

Good work man. When you say update the suit on the fly, do you mean the weight not changing until you exit the inventory?

Exactly. Not sure if there's a way to somehow hook onto the function that updates the total protection stats displayed for the suit and artifacts.

Yup, indeed. I just use a somewhat simplified (or complicated?) approach: a "weight points" lookup table:
local art_weight_table =
{
    af_gravi      = 1,
    af_night_star = 2,
    af_gold_fish  = 3
}

- these are also the artifacts that increase carry weight in Clear Sky
Each point equals additional 5kg carry weight with the current configs (can be easily changed).

Vintar, have you tried this version?
You were asking what I'm up to with the weapons... well... perhaps something similar
But you have to seriously try this implementation to see what the point is
