Voice communication?

Does anybody know if the engine (or the game actually) will support voice communication on multiplayer? I couldn't find anything related to this and I think it will be very important to support voice communication on some multiplayer modes like co-op or team based...

That would be really cool...I mean if you have those walkie-talkies, maybe you can also use your mic for talking trough them.

Well in the end there's still Teamspeak hehe. Although that would take away a part of the athmosphere I think.

It hasn't been planned yet, but they might give it a thought at a later point.

It's no big deal, if you're playing with a clan or friends you can always use third party voice-com programs.

I know but I think it will add to the game to have it built-in. Imagine you can talk to other people ONLY if they are in a 3KM radio or something like that. Where anomalies can also affect communications if you are close to one, etc...

By using other third party solutions you are losing the atmosphere that the game's built-in solution can give us...

Voice Comms is a MUST!!! Hands down for MP (even rainbow 6 for xbox uses voice recognition in a single player game, But i don't see much benifit for single player STALKER).

The gamming community really isn't giving developers a choice of in-game voice. Because if they don't include it, we use programs like TeamSpeak, or RogerWilco, wich can be easily abused (ghosting in games, communicating between teams, the list goes on)..... But if Those wonderfull, intelligent, and talented Developers Include Voice comm features, they will have more controll over who can hear who, and the ability to add distant dependant communications ( like shout, wisper), or just team radio comms.

So, for the benifit of the game play, Voice Comm's is a MUST!!!
