AI pathing problem...

AI pathing problem...

So I'm pretty much stuck near the beginning.. After going through the underground area in the research zone going back into the garbage when the ai bandits move past the wall to engage the other stalkers the game always crashes to desktop on me and throws a:

[error]Description : any vertex in patrol path [gar_smart_bandit_raid_2_walk] in inaccessible for object [gar_sniper_bandit]

message in the log. I've gone back to the last zone and gone back in causing a reload, banzaii'd up chucking 'nades to try and kill them all before they hit that pathing glitch and I'm pretty much out of ideas... I really dont feel like starting over but not sure what else I can do...

It is best to save the game every 10-30 minutes or so for these problems... If You only have Your quicksave You cant get around these bugs I think... I head no such dead ends yet, but there are some reports of these bugs which u only can solve with older savegames...

Yeah, I've gone back to saves in the previous zones (prior to the autosaves), I just dont want to have to go back replay it through again and then run into the same problem. I've gone back 2 zones already to try and get past it with the same result (reload from the lab, and from the underground to lab to garbage).

The function CPatrolPathManager::select_point in patrol_path_manager.cpp should just destroy the object if it can't access the path location vs exiting as an unhandled exception. Someone's missing an error handler...

uness there's a kill all npc's from the console or in a trainer or something. Have cheats been published yet? I havent seen much.

AFAIK there is just a 5 trainer floating around...
