under that section look for this line;

under that line you add the following line;

<money min="100000" max="110000" infinitive="1"></money>


then save and he got unlimited money like the other traders.

NOTE: this is mostly intended for modders, not for end users, so beware.

No full English translation in the archive, sorry. I'll summarize the most important changes here:
1) Fix for crash/save in Pripyat. Yes, 1.0004 fixes one crash in Pripyat, but there are at least two.
2) Workaround for the occasional content loss in the stashes after save/load. GSC coders blindly adopted the treasure manager changes from bfa but did not fix their bug in the xrGame.dll.
3) Fixes for the bugs that are either completely missed in 1.0004 or just lied to be fixed.

This build of bfa uses no workarounds for the saved games! Some fixes will work in the new game only. This is intentional and will not be changed.

Also, this version includes the modified all.spawn file to restore some of the deleted way paths and to provide a more correct fix for some minor bugs/omissions. I use acdc.pl - a command line tool to decompile all.spawn, edit it as a set of text files and compile again. See the download link to the latest version (21 Aug) in the bfa thread on the Russian forum. Requires the perl interpreter to work. Zero documentation so for advanced users only.

Additional note: do not use google to translate Russian -> English, babelfish works better.

Do you think that you can fix a English read me? i want to know what i applying to my game before doing so. Also the readme_rus.txt is totally useless for us that doesn't have Russian installed on our computer, the text get crypted and cant be translated.

Good job tho

EDIT: Have installed your fixes and now when i load a save the game crashes to desk top with no error log? (started a whole new game from beginning).

I'll translate it later today, but again, I expect that resident modders such as NatVac look through the changes, understand it and possibly apply to theirs mods. Just do not have the resources to regularly answer the questions, sorry.

As for the crash, try to completely remove the gamedata/config/text/rus folder.

I don't have the rus text folder installed, and i found one other thing...there is no snipers in the towers (in dark valley)?

I noticed that as well (pure patch 1.0004 - no mods) thought the DEVS would have put them in.

DevochkaApokalipsisa ....just read about how you want to give Skinflint unlimited funds. You also need to adjust another file to make it work perfectly. If you just adjust the one you are talking about, it will give Skinflint unlimited funds, however, you can only trade in 5000 increments! Not like the other traders where you can make huge one-time trades. In order to fix this you must also edit the m_person.ltx file found in the gamedata/config/creatures folder. About halfway down, you will notice a section about m_izgoy. Go to the line money and change that to agree with the amount you put in the character_desc_military.xml file. Now you will be totally unlocked!
