Crash in Yantar

i reaaaaaaaaaaally hope that the 1.0004 patch comes out soon, getting sick of the constant Yantar crash.

one can play about 1second to few minutes there and then fatal error repeats again.

strange, didnt have the error at all in my earlier play-throughs (all with 1.003) but this time the bug seems very persistant.

glad the 1.004 will (propably) fix this. (dont want any mods at this time so dont suggest mod fix )

2.) Professor Kruglov or whatever his name is (the ecologist you save in Wild Territory and escort back to Yantar) has a nasty habit of blocking admission to the Yantar bunker by getting stuck on the door nearest to the inside of the bunker. Take a look:

Game Crashes/ Trader door stuck bug fix

Dear Moderator/GSC

i realize that this is a double post. i didn't post it the right section but this is where i wanted too. i apolgize.

To fix the Trader door bug. What i did (not being able to use the USE button) to fix this was Run at the door and back up quickly and i mean RUN. I ran at the Door in a straight line. When its open u will not need to open the door anymore during the game. Hope this helps some ppl.

I am expierencing game crashes on Army warehouses lvl.. sevrely. Also i get game crashes randomly (just at anytime even just standing there) and when trying to save game.Using all the save methods F6/ ~/ esc. All crashes result to Crash To Wndows. i was able to play the game somewhat until i hit Army warehouses lvl.

Plz help Sir.I love ur game which makes it harder to bear.rRrRoar....

All i want to do is to be able to play the game i don't care about the other bugs. :/

have read alot of threads and the one fix that was posted was an none offical fix by replacing XR_3da or something like that and i don't really like screwing around with those areas if need be.

Ok just following up on what i said earlyer. Man i fixed it with some help by Mad Murdok. give this guy an applause/hand im pasting the link to where i started the thread.

With patch v10003, I still get CTD in the Cordon area unless I use the -noprefetch tweak. Also with or without the tweak I am unable to continue past the point of the army warehouses. I also get a crash there about 5-10 minutes into game play. Often from pressing ESC or quick saving. Even did it once when accessing the inventory.

Obviously there are plenty more bugs, but the above crashing issues on my Vista 32 bit system are all I care about at the moment. All I want to do is complete the game from start to finish. The devs should have clearly stated on there website that this game does NOT run on the vista OS. I hope they are working on this and have not moved onto their next STALKER project. CTD’s should come first above all else on the bugs to be fixed list. MP can be fixed at a later date. Just get the single player game up and running.

I have to the same problem as above, in army warehouse level, destroy monilith soldiers, the tab comes up to enter next level. I check yes, screen stops, get message that engine has problem. program locks up. Have to use task manager to close program. Have you found a solution to this problem?

i also got some errors related to the move_mgr.scipt with "path_walk" in wild territory and military (but randomly, not all the time) i guess i have to take out the npc's smart terrain or set it to none = true

Okay, I have a problem.

XR_3DA.exe caused BREAKPOINT in module "C rogram FilesTHQS.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of ChernobylbinxrCore.dll"

happens everytime I try to go to the garbage map, didn't have this problem before until today. Help?

Crash at Yantar.

Really annoying, sometimes it happens faster and sometimes it takes longer to happen. Never had crashes or problems before. It started after installing the latest nvidia driver, at least I think. I had been to yantar before after installing the newest patch, and before installing the latest nvidia driver and then it worked... anyways this is the log:
