That's funny. I've seen large groups of Military in Garbage ( passing
through ) and in Cordon ( intended destination ) so I'm not really
understanding why they are spread out in the Agroprom ( intended
destination ) like we see. One thing is for sure, I haven't seen the
Skat-9M Military Captains in travel other than the level they are in.
They appear in the Red Forest and I know the point of origin for
where they spawn in Pripyat. It is on the western side in an area
surrounded by anomalies and buses southpwest of the Monolith Base.

Speaking of that, here's one of my biggest surprises in my Game:

* * * * *

I entered the Agroprom Underground expecting an average,
normal run. That did not happen. What I came across was
something I have never seen before down there, should
not have been there and defies explanation. The Zone
is always full of surprises and they usually kill you.

Very cool discovery. I don't recall ever seeing expert military down there. Makes me wonder where their entry point is, and if they might be able to teleport directly there from a level changer within a different area. What I would to try to recreate their appearance in the AU is to stay out of the RF for a while so as to accumulate wandering military before clearing the Underground. Then perhaps head north and see if any travel can be observed.

I think that the staggered replacements in your earlier video had to do with the randomness of the respawn timers when they function as they should (i.e. not spawning or signaling all at once because the player loaded a save or moved through a level changer). Or maybe there were some solo wandering military that had accumulated in the Cordon and were spread throughout the level who then were signaled to move to Agroprom, but the former seems most likely to me.

That makes sense. Since the AU terrain accepts expert-level military, they must take the Rostok path like the others. It's just a matter of clearing the military from the AU while experts are wandering in the RF.

Sounds like another mystery that you could explore if you set up the
conditions for it. As Military Stalkers are normally only found up in the
Red Forest & Pripyat levels, it would seem a trip there would be necessary.

* * * * *

This is the final Agroprom video in the current series:

A quick escape from emerging at the Military Base from the Agroprom
Underground and then back to the Loner Camp to get my stashed loot
and then my departure out of the Agrorprom. If you think there was a
lot of action in the Agroprom, just wait to see what was next in Garbage.

Yeah, I'll try it once I shut down the Brain Scorcher in my game. Hopefully will get a few shots of them in different areas. Maybe I'll even be able to get them to complete "Destroy the Duty detachment" for me in the Bar level.

Shadow of Chernobyl - Patch 1.0005

You may find that more elusive than other things you have encountered.
Look how long I've been playing before I found out the Military I killed in
the Cordon were found passing south through the Rostok. There was a
lot of time that passed between the two. Likewise my time in the Red
Forest was not immediately before going to the Agroprom and finding
the Military Stalkers there. The only sure thing I can initiate is to wipe
out the Military in the Red Forest and then go south to catch them in
Rostok and that has never ever included Military Stalkers as a re-spawn.

The next video is one that you should watch to see the rate of Military
re-spawns passing through Garbage going to the Agroprom. They were
all in groups and none were in single file like we saw in the Agroprom.

One more thing to look for is when I first entered the Agroprom in the
Part One video and encountered 2 Bandits. I left one wounded and he
later disappeared from the level. In this video we meet again in Garbage.

* * * * *

Returning from the Agroprom and entering Garbage is one of those
unique experiences because you immediately have to engage the
Bandits. If you want to try to keep Seriy and the other Loners inside
the Train Hanger alive, you must be quick and gain control of the rear
gate especially making sure no Bandits have slipped inside. As I had
wiped out the Military in the Agroprom, I expected re-spawns of them
and the Bandits I had just killed. This video shows me spending over
an hour there ( 10+ hours Game Time ) and the huge amounts of Military
& Bandits I face by camping out at this location. So much loot I often
had to drop it in a pile and face new re-spawns. I made runs with the
loot to the Duty Checkpoint in Garbage and often came back to catch
more Military & Bandits. Any Player should take advantage of this
situation for the money and supplies that can be earned. I only left
the scene to get that final reward for the Agroprom Underground that
Sidorovich gives in the Cordon. There was still so much loot left behind,
I had to return later to continue gathering it and taking it to Rostok.

Shadow of Chernobyl - Patch 1.0005

My 11 months in the Zone was back in September. That was right
after I started making videos in August. Since that time I have now
made 155 SoC videos covering my time in the Zone for 4 months of
real time. This has greatly cut down on what I used to do which was
telling stories here through screenshots with descriptive text. I hope
my not talking during my videos has been appreciated. When I myself
watch other people making Stalker Game videos, I cringe when they
start babbling. I wanted my experience to be simply what I saw in the
Game including all the great sound effects and music. If anyone has any
questions about what they see in a video, I'm glad to answer but I didn't
feel it necessary to tell anyone what I'm doing or thinking. I believe most
people are experienced enough to understand what they see in the Games.

12 Months in the Zone: Part One

I had intended to be in the Red Forest standing at the level changer
leading to Pripyat at exactly the same time the Game started 1 year
before on May 1, 2012. For this reason, I knew I needed to take the
screenshots of my Rostok stashes before I left which means they are
all taken on April 30, 2013. So this is a reversal how I normally do things.

Shadow of Chernobyl - Patch 1.0005

12 Months in the Zone: Part Four

In conclusion, I thought I would share a few screenshots that I took in
the time right before, during and after the 12 Months in the Zone mark.

I was going around the long way deep inside the Red Forest when I
came across a dead Loner in a SEVA suit in the middle of nowhere:
http://i.imgur.com/zk4hNXa.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/JQReQFF.jpg

I did not find any Zombified Stalker deep in the Red Forest as before.
This means their re-spawns had not arrived yet from my last trip here.
Going back to the Red Forest/AW level changer, I found them on the road:

Exoskeleton Loner hears the call of the Monolith:

His skull a few minutes later after walking into an Anomaly:

At the Red Forest level changer:

The last view before going to Pripyat:

Pripyat arrival:

I had company waiting on me:

You could find them in the top 20 Stalkers:

They wanted me to follow them:

They certainly had better armor than me:

And so it begins...
