I'll tell him you refused then when I conveyed his message.

I'd like confirmation before I go mucking about with a project that takes 11 hours to render and another 1.5 to encode.

The current conflict in Eastern Ukraine has resulted in the death of 197 of my people.

BobBQ~

Of course you are free to do what you want. I was only conveying
the wishes of someone and not their demand. I was asked to do
the exact same thing on Facebook ( where they knew about it )
and that is my fault that I shared it there and brought it to the
attention of the larger Stalker community & Sergiy Grygorovych.

My own personal opinion is that I found it very funny, I consider
it one of the best things you have done and I appreciate all the hard
work you put into it. That's is why ( like all your work ) I share it on
Facebook for the Stalker community as a whole. However very quickly
I received a lot of angry comments and messages from Ukrainians that
were very upset about the use of German tanks portraying characters
considered to be living in Ukraine. I didn't see it that way at all as I
understood your intent to show that Freedom viewed Duty as being very
militaristic and the German tanks were an excellent analogy. Either that
escaped the Ukrainians that viewed it or any hint that they were Nazis
was enough to get hate messages from them. I was very surprised
when Sergiy Grygorovych contacted me so quickly and told me it was
in bad taste considering the political climate over the eastern Ukraine
conflict with the pro-Russian separatists. I removed it from Facebook
and thought I would share with you how he felt about it. What you do
here is no one's decision but your own to do as you want. I only wanted
to convey the sentiments of Sergiy Grygorovych and what happened to me.

I suspect Grigorovich was concerned for the company's image on Facebook and would not object to the video being posted on the forum by a member. If if he would, though, then I would have an issue with him.

I do wonder whether that scene can be redone in some way...

I personally have no issues with it. I loved it. I shared it on GooGle + and with my friends IRL. We all liked it.

If they don't like this one, I'm going to replace it with a nice boat.

Great. Thanks for being understanding about the situation in Ukraine
and how some people ( not me, I liked the original ) were sensitive
( or lacking a sense of humor ) to your original effort. Sharing now.

Okay. I shared it on Facebook and Reddit. Sent the new version in a
private message to Sergiy Grygorovych. I'm not so sure how receptive
he will be to the description part of him being a complainer to everyone
that sees and reads the new version but again that has been your decision.
Personally I would have just changed it and not continued to make it an issue.
