It took off quite a bit once I released in on ModDB.

Some were not to happy being forced to collect 20 bottles of Vodka
People don't have much patience these days

As far as I am concerned, the mod is finished, and nothing will be changed.
I had hoped the economy was harsher. But it will have to do.
The balance is to keep it hard, and still enjoyable.

I for one enjoy roaming the Zone as Lt. Priboi, without having to test & check, start a new game, over and over again

I still can be surprised by the game, seeing NPC's & enemies in places were they didn't walked around before.

Just a heads up.

I am releasing an update to the latest version shortly.

Just a few changes, it will require a new game, since the all.spawn file has been modified.

If someone has observed some errors, or something that should be fixed, please let me know. I will see if I can fix them, and add them to the mod ( no promises though )

I finished the mod with the help of a guide at times and I don't remember finding any errors or crashes.

It was super polished and a nice way to spend the weekend.

I just really hated the initial vodkas mission, took a lot of grinding and actually put me off the mod for months, until the day I decided to tackle it once and for all.

I think you should add a "noob" option for that mission, like just 3 vodkas.
This, of course, if you're interested in accessibility. It's in your right to keep it as original as possible.

Anyway, thanks for the nice updates, I enjoyed the mod.

Glad you liked it

I did release a new version.
You start of with an extra bottle of vodka when you get the equipment from the guy at the bridge.
Some people have complained, but I have in my testing, and playing not spend more than 2 to 2½ in game days to collect the bottles.
It depends in some parts on which stashes you get from dead NPS', there are added a couple of bottles to some of the stashes in Cordon.

Also selling mutant/zombie parts, and artifacts to stalkers (they give a better price), can give you a little extra cash to buy some bottles from Nimble.
The closing of the level changers was my idea, it was not in the original mod.
It started as a proof of concept, just to see if it worked, and I decided to keep it.
I like it because it forces the player to really explore, and to make choices in what equipment they really need, and not hoarding stuff.
And to give players a challenge from the start.

People can freely change the files to require less bottles. It is quite easy to do.
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
