I have installed Absolute Nature 4 on top of the AI, and it works. Also AN4 "all. spawn" and "level.ai" files will overwrite the ones from AI mod.
Is it ok to use them?

Yes I transferred the whole AN4 gamedata straight on top of the AI mod and it's fine, It looks the business too.

It's a very basic story mode but it just works, It starts with you having to talk to the doc who is in one of 3 places in the Marshes when you start as a Clear sky member, I haven't tried it with the Loners but presume you'll still need to go to the Marshes to find him, Sometimes you find see him travelling between the three spots. He gives you a key to a Pripyat hotel room and tells you to go there and to find documents that are in the different labs and hideouts. That requires you to visit all the labs and undergrounds from all three Stalker games, As in Soc you need to turn the devices off in both the Yantar lab and the Radar lab to open up areas like Pripyat and the CNPP, Turning the Yantar device of is the first job as you need to get the psi helmet. Once you do all the labs and the hotel you'll then go to a couple of places in the CNPP and they in turn direct you up to the lab at the generators, I don't want to keep going as it'll spoil it a bit, Along with the fact that you have to prepare yourself and use the bases you know from the three games which have traders, leaders and techs all with dynamic repeatable tasks (random stalkers have tasks too), It takes quite a while to get through, My last go took me about 30 hours but you can do it quicker if you focus on that goal, I just never wanted too as I was having too much fun.

Yes.

But you may or may not be missing some AN4 textures, so I would put the complete AN4 gamedata on top of the AI mod, That's what I did and it's fine.

Cool.

I have downloaded CoC, and this is fantastic mod. I was thinking how would be good to combine all 3 stories into this, or at least some parts of the stories?
Btw, Doc was in my CS base.

I haven't, every version so far uses Atmosfear 3, Sorry.



re: COC,

I forgot to mention it before, In the menu there is an option to choose how many quick saves it can make, For me it's bugged.
At default it makes 5 quicksaves,
I turn it down so it only makes one quicksave.

I also have my save mixed up which is odd, When I restart the game the save at the top of the list is often an old save and I have to number my manual saves so I know which is the newest.

For example my last 2 manual saves are '18 at bar' and '19 go north'

It's possible the saves being out of order is Win 10 related as someone suggested at Moddb.
The issue with the quicksaves is a known one that others have already reported and the workaround was to reduce the number of quicksaves made to just 1 as already mentioned.

Now I'm curious...

Seeing you all rave about this makes me interested in this. I've played all three games plenty of times, and am hoping to revisit a modded up version of CoP that combines the levels of all the games and frees me up from having to follow the vanilla story but still allows me to play it if I want, or even better, provides a new story.

I just posted about a mod merge I'm hoping to do here:

But this thread makes me think I should give the combo of mods listed here a try. Can I depart from the vanilla game and get a mix of game levels this way?

That's good to hear, I'm glad you enjoyed it, Off course the main stars behind the mod are Alundaio (AI), Cromm Cruac (weather & vegetation) & Darkenneko (character texturing).
The mutant textures are mostly from Darkenneko's Variation mod with 1 or 2 from N.Aaroe (like the fleshes used in Misery).

I try to add everyone's name to the read me if I used something of there's and it has a lot of names in it so there may of been others I do not remember now, the main change is down to the variation mod which has multiple texture versions of some mutants.

I've just loaded up your mod and it looks amazing, magnificent effort.

Now after the flattery I love playing with an uncluttered screen, are COP minimalist hud mods compatible? All I need are the health/energy bar and ammo count.
