Some (hopefully) constructive criticism:

The weather transitions way too quickly, one minute its lashing rain the next its sunny and dry spells within seconds. Also some of the night-time sky textures look like, well, crap. Low quality and the clouds look messed up.

Other than that you have enhanced the basic game rather well, the only other thing I would tweak is friendly AI, when traveling to Pripyat my team mate would either unload clips into fallen mutants or accidentally into me. Not sure if you can fix that though ?

Have just literally entered free-play and am in the process of mopping up from the evac - Load up a Quick Save, all is fine until I head towards the dock area:

Un-installed and re-installed (Complete Mod only) gives same crash.
Going to try a hard save from earlier and see if it re-occurs.

find the "gamedata\meshes\actors\stalker_merc" folder, and rename the file

stalker_mercen2c_mask.ogf

to:
stalker_merc2c_mask.ogf

Just a typo error.

One of the purposes of my mods is to discover the best of community work and bring to the mainstream level, giving it more exposure, which in my opinion is a win/win situation for both users and modders. Yes, I use an Atmosfear Blowout, which is a stunning work of art by itself, to which I added my skyboxes and color settings, because this is how I wanted it to look. This is a transparent, and well documented fact. Users are still free to use the original Atmosfear Blowout to which I provided multiple links (how many of you do that?), but if they are willing to wait for a year for my custom version, then this is not my problem and definitely shouldn't be yours. In fact I never specifically hyped my mods, during the whole development I only released a few one sentenced informative messages to keep fans updated (but I've seen some of you going out of your way in the most ridiculously cheesy fashion trying to generate interest for you mods).

Some my background. It's not like I came out of nowhere, I do a lot of things in gaming and entertainment industries, the stuff that I do for Xbox 360 community is actually more popular than Stalker modding, to the point where I was invited to a meeting with Microsoft after which they started promoting and supporting my work, and a lot of other stuff. Just getting the point across, I'm not looking for fame here, actually I have better things to do than dealing with over sensitive, egocentric people who are unable to deal with watching someone else succeed. I'm doing this because I saw something that can be improved in a way that could make a lot of people happy.

and remember, gaming is a very small industry, the stuff you do to people here will get back to you even after 10 years, so don't hate.

There will always be haters
Not all people realize the amount of work that has to be put into making a mod, or merging mods.

From my own experience doing the Priboi Story Overhaul, I know it takes time, and it is sometimes frustrating if things do not work as intended.
I had almost zero knowledge on how to mod, when I began to give Priboi Story an Overhaul.
But after asking a lot of questions, and reading a lot on different forums, and the STALKER Mod Portal, I learned a lot.
And I had the help of community members on some of the really tricky stuff
And after many long nights giving Priboi Story an overhaul, has made me appreciate the work real modders do, to make us, the community, happy

So keep up the good work, I really enjoyed playing The Complete mod for SHOC, and will give Complete for COP a look when I am done with my own tinkering

I get a crash whenever i am switching between areas. Ive had it from Zaton -> Yanov, Yanov -> Pripyat Underground. I as able to avoid it by using the teleport feature to get from Yanov and Zaton but since moving into the Pripyat Underground i part of a quest i dont think that will work there

I have 4GB of ram, 8800GT 512mb, and 32bit Windows 7. I have put everything on low and put resolution on 800x600 and it still crashes. Runs fine other than this problem (which is fairly big). Help please!

I stopped that crash for someone else. Just replace your level_weathers.script with this: http://pastebin.com/kV165qBB

It's not a real fix but simply prevents the crashing by adding an extra check.

Thanks for that, I've been hunting for typos in NPC Variation mod for a while, there are quite a few of them, the best way was to spawn a lot of NPCs and see which ones crash the game.

Thanks, I finally discovered the real problem in weather config, but I'd like to include your script in 1.0.2 updated just for extra security, if you don't mind.

Perfectly fine. We all know how annoying crashes can be. Anything to stop them.
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
