Im not sure whats going on but its a complete pig to run..... random crashes, brutal slow downs, freezes.....

But it looks good. Just a shame it doesnt run very well.

One thing I'd like to know about is the claim that grass pop-up is gone. Numerous people have said that it's hard-coded into the engine, but it's down as a feature of the mod...

By saying its "gone" he probably means its not as noticeable. If the grass colors match and blend into the ground textures, then it will give the illusion that the grass is just getting too small to see, as opposed to getting cut off.

The grass draw line is not as much a programming issue as it is artistic, the distance is more or less the same in most games, but they usually do a good job of hiding that without taxing the system, I spent about 60 hours tweaking that grass color, the grass is based on Cromm's Nature pack with some vanilla mixed-in.

Sorry if it looks this way, the thing about compilation mods is when the author either gets a credit for everything or doesn't get recognition at all, this is why I've construed a credit list in the user manual where I explain in detail which feature was made by whom. At the end it's a community mod + the content created by author, just like very other 'large' mod is made.

I had doubts about semi-transparent UI too. If you know how to remove dropped knifes and don't mind sharing, I'd like to know that, they are really cluttering the inventory. I think I left vanilla fire distance as is.

It's quite large, Atmosfear was already heavy on the memory and then I added another set of skyboxes, I tried to optimize it by using the low res textures where I could but I might have to do more of that.
