All I have to say is...

HOLY SHIT! This should be a god damn movie, man! Why the hell aren't you rich? I spent from midnight to 4 am reading this, planning on going to bed by 1 am.

You ruined a night's sleep for me, but it was well worth it.

I congratulate you on a beautiful story that portrays everything so well that I was watching it all unfold in my head like I was there.

Your depictions of emotions are fantastic, some things you describe in this story I wouldn't be able to form words to even resemble that emotion.

You portrayed the fragile balance between life and death perfectly, as well as that of love and hate. You showed loss and lust, you showed humor, you showed bravery, and most of all, you showed what the Zone is truly like.

You also left me begging for more, so I'd better get it or I'm going to be very disappointed in you.

Wow, I've never replied using that many words on any forum or in any conversation. I feel smart now.

@ Do0mzday-Jesus

Thanks a lot man, it never gets old to hear people say that.

I still have a lot of editing to do if I'm ever going to see the story truly "complete" it's just a HUGE task to partake it - kinda like writing it all over again. But I think after the initial flurry of writing and being able to correct errors, add detail, and ensure the flow is steady I dare say it could come out even better than the first draft.

I know a lot of people have told me not to touch it and leave it how it is, but really all I'm doing is leaving the base material and enhancing it - like a girl putting on makeup.

Anyway, I'm also working on small installments of what could be the sequel - "Rebirth" - also found in this section. If you want some more keep following these threads and I promise to deliver.

Thanks again for your thoughts, every comment made on my writing means the world to me.

Update

All chapters are now up and optimized on WritersCafe with all my other writing.

I still have a lot of final edits to make so I'll make sure to update this thread as needed.

I *believe* there is also an RSS feed you can subscribe to on the page that will let you know anytime I post anything - whether it's editing or posting something new. That could be insanely helpful for updates as they come.

Back to work I go...

For those who have just started to explore the fanfic and will have to read more text at once (like me ) this environment is certainly more "ergonomic"/ reader-friendly.

Will take a look in the coming week

Hey are you updating the writing on writerscafe as you go along? Because I've found some continuity errors and writing errors but if you've already corrected them theres no point in pointing them out again (pun unintented ).

Anywho, good story, just started reading.

Just finished (finally; every time I settled down to read, something would take me away from it. I must have started over half a dozen times).
What can I say that others haven't? Nothing really.
Good stuff. Now for 'Rebirth' and the others.
Nice work, man.

@snorkbait Thank you my good sir. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

@HL2 That's quite an endeavor there! As for the second installment... I dunno yet. I do have lots of time to write since the contract with my last job is up, I guess I'm just waiting for the proper push... inspiration is something that tends to show up when you least expect it and not always when you need it. :/

At any rate, I *hope* to have at least *something* soon. Sorry for the wait, I know it had a pretty good start, but the part where I left off needs some serious work. I'll get back to you on that.
