New game - Items spawned on Actor or in the "starting box"

Hello everyone,

because I'm seemingly too stupid to edit the trader files correctly for selling me everything right from the start, I would like to edit the starting inventory OR this box right an the start where the actors belongings are stored.

Any ideas where I have to do that?

The question is old but i will post the solution for others...
both methods are working in every STALKER game and modification!

yeah i know how to do that^^
The file you need to modify is "character_desc_general.xml"
(gamedata\config\gameplay)

The part which needs to rewritten is from line 12 to 17 (Notepad++)

<team>Actor</team>
<supplies>
[spawn] \n
device_torch = 1 \n
novice_outfit = 1 \n
</supplies>

You can add everything you want!
Hope everything other is self explained.

And if people didnt want to sart full equipped but want more
money at the start, edit the "dialog_escape.script" (gamedata\scripts)
Change the amount of money for an reward
example, line 24:

dialogs.relocate_money( oNPC, 400, "in" ) --/ NPC ~> money ~> actor

Change the "400" to any other value and you will get that with finsihing the Artefact tutorial quest!
