Viper 5 9x18 Thoughts, Condition/Durability

So I'm making this thread because in playing through the game and trying a few variations I've decided to attempt at getting all the unique weapons in as perfect condition as possible. Now for most assault rifles and shotguns, this is very easy because once the character who has the gun is in the wounded state then he'll drop his gun in perfect condition. It's very useful and easy enough with a few quicksaves/loads and either an aggroed enemy to use the character as a body shield with, or even just using a pistol or other relatively weak gun to ensure he becomes wounded, etc.

But for some weapons such as the pistols and Viper 5 9x18, it just seems impossible to get one in actual perfect condition. I just can't get a wounded character to drop his pistol, he'll put it away and it can only be looted off him instead of dropping it in perfect condition like the primary weapons. Well, I don't care too much about pistols anyway, but I guess in theory you'd just have to retry over and over again until you've looted it at as close to perfect condition as possible.

I've noticed that dropped enemies will sort of save their weapon condition and loadout when dropped, instead of when first looted, unlike activating stashes. So, if I drop an enemy like Kuznetsov, then go over to his body and quicksave before I loot him, then every time I quickload I have another chance at a different stash but his loadout and Fort15 will always be the same. If I however quicksave right before killing him and then quickload to kill him quickly, then each time I believe would be a slightly different loadout and Fort15 condition.

But, in particular what's bothering me is not being able to determine how to go about picking up the Viper 5 9x18. It seems like the developers were clever enough with things like zombies becoming good supplies of obokans and trs 301s, and like I said the perfect condition primary unique weapons, leaving in the healing of armor with elemental artifacts and their respective anomalies, and so it would seem as though they would've had an inside trick into getting the Viper 5 9x18 in perfect condition. I just can't figure it out because I've saved right before letting the dead guy at the tunnel go on-line, where I'd assume would be something like the end of the hangar at the east and the middle of the two garbage mountains at the south. But it just seems to be hard-set to be at ~75% condition all the time instead of resetting to something else random.

Does anyone know any secrets?

Happy New Year

Weapon condition is set upon the owner NPC's death and the exact value is randomized within a fixed range of 75% to 90%. For pre-placed corpses like the one in the tunnel, condition is determined when you start a new game.

IrkenLurker~

Might be easier to install a small Weapons Repair Mod
so that you can fix and use all those unique weapons.

Alright. Right now I've been sort of experimenting with playing Vanilla to kinda feel out the base game itself before playing many mods. It's interesting to see that that body in particular is spawned all the way going back to the new game start. Thanks for the advice.
