Trouble with dynamic lighting with a good rig

I love STALKER with FDL(full dynamic lighting), but the game dips to 35-40 fps at light-heavy areas(sidorovich, scientists, bar especially), yet my rig isn't bad for this game(my computer in the signature).

Playing ZRP only, tried with and without it and it doesn't change anything, Shaders MAX makes the FPS worse.

Two questions:
1) Is my rig good enough for dynamic lighting consistent 50-60fps(even at the bar)
2) If your rig can do FDL with consistent 60fps, please post your CPU, GPU and RAM

Thanks in advance!

Hello

Have you updated you drivers ? Because your PC should easily handle the game.

Thank you very much for replying (posted on a bunch of forums, first reply).

I have installed GPU drivers twice(even done a bit of an overclock, not much).
If you're talking about any of these motherboard drivers
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4N68T_LE_V2/HelpDesk_Download/ , HDD drivers, then I haven't installed any.

For more info, on Windows 7 64bit, my computer never runs above 65c on STALKER, it's not overheating.
My PSU is 750w. The wattage is waaaay more than calculators say I need, 400w, but at least I don't think it's a bottleneck.

Here is the reccomended and minimum reqs site check.

Other than that all drivers should be updated to latest if possible.

Since your GPU is AMD, you should check their site for drivers.

Checked every single component, installed every driver possible and still performing the same way.

Your PC should handle max setting good, try deleting user.ltx in you documents and fire up the game again and re-configure settings.

Also 1 last shot, upgrade directx ?

Something else to consider:

If you have the latest patch from GSC, Steam or GOG, you are running with vertical sync forced on. The max FPS you can get is typically 60, and only if all is perfect.

So if the game misses being ready at v-sync, it has to wait until the next v-sync. This means 30 FPS, with an occasional frame at 60 FPS (net FPS is 30+, like 35 or 40 FPS).

You can override this with special GPU tools, or if GOG you can request a DLL that doesn't have the v-sync lock, or re-install and patch with an older patch. There are versions of 1.0006 around that don't have this v-sync lock, but you might have to play with your firewall blocking the game from the Internet, or something more physical like temporarily disabling your Internet connection by pulling the network cable.

Or maybe your display can sync at a higher frequency. Set it for a higher value like 72 or 75 if supported, then mess with the settings for v-sync in user.ltx: rs_refresh_60hz off, rs_v_sync off, that kind of thing. I'm not sure if this will help at all but I'd try it.
