What happened to gamedata folder?

I had trouble installing the new patch and getting it to run, so I removed the game completely, reinstalled LA (all four parts) then added the patch.

But there is no gamedata directory? I admit I sometimes like to fiddle with the aiming crosshair or carry weight stats, but without an actor.ltx or system.ltx (no gamedata directory) how do you do this? I apologize if this is a simple answer, but for the life of me, I cannot remember how to get the gamedata folder back so I can make these small adjustments to suit my gaming preference. Help appreciated.

Sorry I caused you a facepalm. That was really unnecessary. I don't spend all my time here reading all the posts, so I guess I missed this discussion.

I found a way to extract the files using google, so I thank you for your reply.

Yes, something as game changing as this perhaps should be pinned.
