Are you implying that sort of thing is unlikely for a Hi Point? ;D

(I had thought the Wikipedia entry on C-9s implied that Hi Points have been known to sometimes function somewhat after being broken in. However, I now notice after double checking that it says "citation needed" and seems to be referring to feed issues instead of jamming. So perhaps I should amend the story. It would still fit the character just fine to be running around with a constantly jamming gun. He was intended to be something of a joke after all.)

Less likely than having the zinc-alloy pot metal slide crack in half and come flying back into his face. In any case, Hi-Points are obscenely bulky and clumsy for the caliber and magazine capacity they offer.

If you want to use something a little more practical but keep the low budget/mall ninja angle, give him any pistol made by Taurus.
