Freeplay is very nice. I always thought that
SHOC-Vanilla story is in a mod more a obstacle
than a useful part.
Anyway,besides freeplay i would like to see a
tolerable balance comming back. Its somewhat
cheap to get shot by npc`s who have x-ray eyes
and perfect marksmanship even trough walls
with broken,crappy guns.

Go get it at tecnobacon.com download page. Check out the info on free play. REMEMBER to edit and use the NEW TB3D_Modders.script to set your options as alot has changed.

For some weird reasons, I like this edition more then DZK made (most major one being the Atlas Mod included, I like to screw around). But due to higher demanding textures and stuff, I get a lot of out-of-memory errors. So, my question is thus:
Can I use the default texture pack from DKZ in your edition of NS?

how and what do you edit in TB3D_Modders.script to make the patches work could you please explain in simple form as i have not got a clue,all i know is that when i apply any patch the the foreward,back and straffe left/right keys do not work but if i start a new game it is fine,thanks

Technobacon,
Would it not be easy to add vanilla Freeplay as ZRP did. Essentially just have a menu button click to give all info portions. I did this with Soljanka a while back. Some places of course are not safe for actor...like DC.
I have a list assembled if you want to save time with integration.

as I've seen no indication of it, I need to ask;

are the new levels (darkscape, etc.) available and inhabited?

since 1.3.2 (or whichever it was) had added them to the map, but not to the game (IIRC)

UPDATE

TO ALL, sorry for the PKM, I edited the mesh file to remove the cryllic for silencer (was silenñer) one letter. You can change the texture name to silencer.dds
'wpn\ump45_zeka\silencer.dds'

two more that needs mesh to be edited but til then;
aaz\m4a1 and sopmod\tacstonk, I will get these fixed and get them out to you.

FREEPLAY

This version is being re-written at it's core to handle things like large address aware cslid managment, lan packet resolver, and a new task management system. The problem with NS, or any large mod for SHOC, it cannot be easily sync'd. Remeber that this IS a BETA of a new concept.

Modders: These tools are for you to test and explore and hopefully start submitting new stuff, esp. levels! I will be adding:

eprip2
jupund1
jupund2

WEAPON RANKING SYSTEM

Modders, help please.
I am working on the site now and need a little help. Anyone familliar with the weapon rank scripting could help me be telling me which files I need to work on to catch the missing rank error.
Would save me alot of time, Thanks, EB
