---QUOTATION---
That's (all) good to hear. I'll be putting a few more updates on here if I can (the idea would be to intrigue, not spoil).
As regards getting the book out...I'm 'rather displeased' that it wasn't done and dusted a long time ago. There's been a lot of stuff that got in the way, and some ideas I'd had just wouldn't work out - or worse, were plain wrong as it turned out - but even so...
And of course, the more 'displeased' I felt, the harder it was to write, so that got my goat as well. Vicious circle.

Also...Zug, if you're still about and read this, guess who got a cameo?
I know I shouldn't do that sort of stuff, but...what the hell.
---END QUOTATION---

DDDDDDD( even though that face does not make much sense I am thoroughly happy) thanks Snork! and I was impressed as always with the story.

@Jet Odessa: Glad to hear it.

@ Zugbarrh: It's nothing (almost literally! ). Really just a quick mention. But I did say I'd see how it went and the opportunity presented itself, so... (And, you're there, mentioned, with a sequel already in the pipeline (I've got most of the story points; I just need one more thing to fall into place before I get cracking...OK, make that two, with finishing up on this one. ))

Still nearly there.
It's a bit like the old reducing the distance by half thing (and maybe also getting smaller as you do it).
Some of it is 'The Finishing Paradox' - I simultaneously want it to be done, and don't want it to be. Chuck in some finisher's anxiety and you get the idea. There have been times when I've found myself doing anything and everything but the task at hand (including playing SoC and calling it 'area research').

Eeeh...what's the worst that could happen though, eh?

Myself, I find the urge to get distracted directly proportional to the urgency of the task at hand.

Yeah. Having something to do (and wanting to do it, oddly enough) always brings out a bit of attention-deficit disorder.

Yes, but what is the name of the book? Is it available on Kindle?
