‘Stalker!’ a strained voice called from the top of the escarpment, and I stopped, turning. ‘Good work with the woman, but we could have killed you both just now. The favour is returned. Next time we meet, one of us will die!’

Nice - that's like exactly the way I pictured it too. That was one of the best parts of this section of the story, btw.

P.S. Next time draw Blondie half naked and shaking on the ground too.

Quantum: Patience, grasshopper.

hhiker: Very nice! Must be nice to be talented. I appreciate you taking the time to do that. Thank you.

psynexus: lmao!! Can't see hhiker doing that, somehow...

BTW all: when I eventually mention names from the forums, bear in mind I have no idea what they look like, i.e. Earlywine (who will make an appearance), and their characteristics, legend, etc are probably miles from the truth.
I know sort of what hhiker looks like (and Siro) thanks to pics they've stuck on threads, but these just help get the picture a little clearer in my head. Again, characteristics, attitude, etc, are as I imagine the character in The Zone, not the person IRL, to be.
There. That's the lawsuits avoided.

That's your feedback, right there
About the second statement... why not? After all i've got closer acces to an actual naked woman than most of the other buggers here

Anyway - posting disclaimers, eh?
That must be a good sign...

Dunno. Just didn't think drawing naked chicks would be something you wanted to do, but...
And you're using yourself as a model?
Right, gather round, lads! Things are about to get interesting!

Disclaimers: just thought it best to be clear.

psynexus: Cool pic. 'Cept Blondie's blonde, remember? lol.
Anyway, her appearance is based upon someone I used to know from a pub I used to frequent. I thought I'd found the Holy Grail of beers, the never-ending pint. Turned out I was just drooling too much.

Quantum... your words are wise
However...
"Naked" does not equal "drooly anime"
The point i was going to make, well, i already found it in the story:

---QUOTATION---

... I remembered every curve. And I was amazed to find I didn’t care.
/.../ How sexy was the sight of someone covered in filth, bleeding to death, in shock, and losing the fight to stay conscious?

AndyTbone/Dogpatch: Cheers.

Quantum: Speak for yourself, mate!

hhiker: Very tasteful. But of course I can 'see' her whenever I want, seeing as she's my creation and all.

Anyway - and this will undoubtedly make psynexus weep - that's her out of it for a while now.

BTW: Despite in-game/from-game 'help', I'm seriously struggling for Russian-sounding names. Also, I don't know if family names (not patronymics) are regional/country-to-country or widespread, i.e. is Kuznetsov area specific, or across all of what was the USSR?
All my soldiers sound more like the Russian national team c. 1992: Dobrovolsky, Mikhailichenko, Mostovoi, etc. I even drafted a bit with a Sgt. Dasayev.

Any advice gratefully received.

Sure bet would be to ask Siro (he is Russian), also Racemate (don't know his origins, but he has offered very constructive info one the name topic - dig out Danlo's storythreads to find what he has written). Try asking around in the Bar as well.

My own Russian is far from good but i'm able to point out if something is wrong. For example, Marek is clearly a Polish name, and a very common here in Estonia too. Have never heard of it being used in Russian, at least not in such form (not sure about Ukranian though). ED: In the audiobook "Fang's tale" there was a characher Mark Something-Something.

ED2:
Here's a link Danlo provided in another names topic:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_names
this might shed some light to the area-specific manes.

ED3:
ok, sorry, i can't help it
