I get this in build 1834, what should I do?

Does it happen on startup, or while playing? Some of the builds love to throw those out seemingly at random.

At startup.

Edit: I fixed the problem, the build has started, but I have another problem. If I try to run with the savedgames folder, I get this message:
*** Assertion failed ***
Expression: saved_age >= spawn_age
Delete saved game and try again
koan

But if I delete the savedgames folder, every bat file spawn me to the cordon.

Whoops, somehow my reply never got posted.

The batch files are set up to load game saves made by the developers, but it sounds like the build thinks the saves are corrupt or incompatible and without them it reverts to the default spawning point.

Have you tried the jump_to_level command?

Just wondering if anyone knows what ground textures are used in the 1935 builds, I've been making some new ones but I can't figure out which files to name. So far (only gotten as far as Cordon) detail_grnd_asphalt isn't used for the roads, and detail_grnd_grass isn't used for the grass

any help is really appreciated, if I need to rephrase it let me know because it seems complicated

Yes, for example, I type in jump_to_level agroprom, but I get an unknown command message.

Derp, sorry - I forgot build 1834 doesn't have that command.

Just tried it myself and the Agroprom save loaded correctly after a few false starts. Some of the builds are prone to crashing on launch, yet run fine if they make it past that.

Bob, will you do a new build video? I really miss them. I know, it's a hard work, and you have very small free time.

Redoing the 2571 videos is still in the queue, but first I have to figure out why Fraps is no longer recording sound for longer than a few minutes. It wasn't doing that until a couple of months ago.

Where to find 'system.ltx' file in Build 1935

The 'Quick Guide' in 'Mod Wiki' for this game version gives a fix for

crashes which requires editing the system.ltx file.

However, am unable to locate this file.

Can anyone help?

EDIT: Nevermind, found the file in the 'gamedata' folder, and made the recommended changes:

switch_distance=50
normal_time_factor=200

Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
