Most other mod doesn't have "installer", so you could just extract stuffs it into gamedata folder and see if it runs or not.
However, in this case, I can't even "try".

Hmm... is there any way to... say, "extract" what's inside the Installer?
I got a feeling that it'll just work fine, only IF I could put stuffs to where it's supposed to be (a.k.a gamedata folder).

sry, my email client is blocking me sending the folder and i dont have enough space to host the gamedata folder maybe someone else here could either host it or give you a work around, do try as fatrap said and do a search regarding steam on these forums, your answer may lie in one of those threads/posts.

I just tried this mod for like half an hour and I like it already. So far I didn't find any bugs but I haven't played long yet.

Though, there are 2 things that bother me.
1. The installer. It seems to force things upon you that you don't really want. What's wrong with a simple .rar file that you have total control over? I was kind of pissed of at the beginning when it said it would rename my gamedata folder but after installing the mod it turned out that it didn't! Well, it was only a minor annoyance because I make shit loads of backups. Anyway, I tried to recreate this bug but the installer worked fine ever since.

2. The main menu music. What's wrong with the quality? There is lots of background noise during the music. I quickly fixed this by loading up Sony Vegas and recreating your version using the original song. But, ofcourse, it would be nice if you could fix that in the next version.

But so far I'm loving the mod and now I'm going to start it up again!

Sorry ! But i'm not speaking english so good!

So have 1-2 small bug in the game (bug in the new woodhouse's ladder, bug in some tree, 1-2 trailer floating in air and when i walk in, damage me. Otherwise the mod is AWESOME, and i dont have CTD or any error during game (played 1-2 hours).

Setup application is checking windows registry for stalker install path and version, so probably registry entries differs between Steam and retail. If anyone know the registry entry for stalker steam version then please post it (screenshoot would be nice), we don't have a steam copy so installer wasn't tested on steam

Why installer? Well because setup makes installation process clear and simple, especially that we have some patch related files.

You are talking about storyline task, as in vanilla stalker, storyline tasks in Priboy are rewarded by giving you extra reputation, rank and relation with certain faction (reward depend on task). Also all of the documents, flash drives and so on are part of the storyline, if you reach extraction point (chopper is waiting for you outside CNPP) you will know why (outro video)

Than I went on some bandit-hunt to the car-lot. Now when I am back with loot to the commander_trader at the bridge - I cannot talk to him, the "use" button does not work at all on him. Moreover - everybody there is pointing their guns at me and move around like they if they where fighting me - they just don't shoot. I don't know what cused this - i think that during the shootout at car lot - i killed one of the loners by accident so maybe this is the cause.

It's probably related to npcs detection settings, they just see an enemy which is far away, so they act weird (panic treshold?). Certainly this must be fixed ...

When we spawned some objects with bones, then weird things happened, like: npcs couldn't omit objects if that objects were spawned on npcs waypoints ("AI locations" , so we decied to remove bones for some objects, so you can pass through some trees

from Priboi's readme:

You will notice, that you can walk through some objects near a smart terrain or used AI locations (only some trees, the other objects have bones). This one was needed to fix the invalid vertex for object error.

about floating static objects: only objects spawned in map editor (mp sdk) are "sticked to ground", if we spawn object via all.spawn then they will hang in the air - we found a way to fix this but this may cause stuttering and lags so we won't use it

can not get into labs at x18,got the document that tells you that the codes are hidden at CHAES where the hell is that i do not remember that from original stalker and it is not shown on map so how do i find it

cited from Proboi's readme file:

If you find a missing document, you will need to read it to obtain information about the case, or get some clues about where to look next.

You will need to read the PDA, and make sure to check it often! It will be helpful, and you can find anything you want in the PDA

2, I can't talk with some NPCs like the Major in the bridge (Cordon)

1. when you leave Cordon then commander will move towards Red Forest (radar) - he should be marked on the map (pda->mails)

2. is it only with major? other bridge soldiers act weird?
