Oh, yeah, I noticed that. Just didn't want to post in two of the bars.

So, Xoffus, how are you today, my friend?

All is well, just enjoying a lazy sunday.
I went to the summer drive in movies last night, went to see "Disturbia".
And how are you my friend?

@Xoffus: you should read more carefully the very first post of Siro; he explains it all.

@ Rogue
It's sorry to hear that a person who survived two world wars gets robbed by it's own children.
---END QUOTATION---

Yeah, it made me think a lot. And they even were resistants in Paris, freed it (c.f. Liberation de Paris) and made a lot of effort, despite they be basically proletarians, so their kids miss nothing of what needed.

But so is it sometimes: no matter the love, no matter the sacrifices, my uncle went for an expensive life of fun, that leaded him to foul and evil doings. I think he never went to be a murderer, but he robbed and betrayed half of the familly for sustaining his life style...

Is it not just mad how some people think their little sufferings give them the right to do such things ? (he really only suffered of not having his fun...)

That is one of the numerous reasons I almost always go "Lawfull Good" characters in my gaming, even in STALKER... I guess (but that's not sure), that experiencing a bit of real evil in life, against oneself, helps to see why evil's evil... And dislike it most.

Just like you said, it's a lazy sunday. Woke up an hour ago, turned on the rig, checked the emails and the forum. I'm in no hurry today.

The weather's fine, so maybe we'll go for a walk.

Right now I'm taking a look at some hardware related review since I'm planning some changes for my PC.

@ Rogue
Some people just dont perceive their deeds as something evil. They feel justified by the suffering brought onto them by the world.

I meant, for know the old bar topic is still open so I figured some people might still post in the old bar. That's why I asked.

edit: if the old bar topic is archived we can still consult it right?

Yeah. And maybe you'll remember kami's Google search trick. If not, I've saved it and can repost it

I know. But sometimes the so said "suffering" is just being capricious, not standing to see fun seeking contradicted, never have been in real trouble, like war and such... Sometimes. But not always.

Sure, some people *maybe* need more fun than others, in order to forget the misery they've got for seeing to clearly the evil of Mankind, and their own evilness... It, kind of, happened to me in my youth.

I briefly cycled to the bar pages, looks like the most important thing to be saved is Mr Molecule's thread with the member pictures in it.
I'll keep an eye on it, if he doesn't come online on time I'll copy the post into this thread.

Rogue, maybe you can add more daring ones to your history post? After all we were with a lot at the end of the unofftopical bar's 200th page.

Yeah, ok, I can make an addendum. But remember it was about the "pionniers". Sure, no harm in adding the others daring ones right underneath

*edit* list created, names added.

@Siro: I'm sure I forget someone in the daring pionniers. Any idea who it is/was ?
