Things that really annoy me.
Okay, seeing as how the game's out, and there had been a sudden influx of gops, my job's gotten alot harder than it used to be. People constantly make new threads about bugs and flaming GSC for the game being buggy, people asking what the Monolith says...people asking for a download of the main radio track. I can barely handle it. I am tired of saying the same thing, over and over. Below is a welcome speech that I have compiled and edited to make sure all new members read it if they didn't read the rules, and to know what is acceptable and what is not, and just things that would make my job a lot less frustrating.
This speech mainly addresses the topics that are most frequently made into threads despite them being discussed to death. If anyone would like a link to the thread they want in order to talk about a certain topic, we will gladly send you a link to the appropriate thread, provided we can find it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
ATTENTION ALL NEW MEMBERS:
We know about the Russian gun site, we know about Kiddospeed, we have over a hundred threads on system specs, please look them up or e-mail a member, or just look at the box.Vehicles are removed although the code for them is still in, and we know sleeping has already been taken out. Coop being taken out is not new news. Random blowouts are out because key NPC's were dying from them. The Blowouts are now scripted. Use proper grammar when posting, please use capitals, read the rules before posting and use the search function before making a thread.
Please post actual game/story oriented questions/material in the appropriate section called "Playing the Game". This is not a support forum. If you need help, go into the Single Player Bugs section, your problem will probably already be addressed in there. You are welcome to make a thread in that section about your bug if you honestly searched for it with no results (and I mean actually looking through multiple pages of threads, not just using the broken search function).
We also have many threads on errors encountered with Windows Vista. Please look them up and know that STALKER runs better on XP and has huge problems with VISTA. These issues will be sorted out by GSC in the next patch. Please wait until it is released, and be thankful that they're not releasing it too early, and it winds up not fixing any serious errors people are encoutnering. Please stop making threads complaining that Stalker does not work on Vista, or doesn't work at all. Discussion of illegal software is forbidden. Please do not make threads complaining about a game bug and flaming GSC for making this mistake. If you do make one, it will be deleted without hesitation. Please don't personally insult/attack other forum members or send malicious e-mails. People are entitled to their opinion, and you have no right to say otherwise. If you disgree, say you do so in a constructive manner.
If you have any problems or would to bring something to the attention of the mods, send an e-mail. Our addresses are in our profiles. You must also preferably have a working e-mail address so we can contact you if the need arises. Do not worry about getting spammed or sent insults. We will give out justice to those that violate your right to peaceful existence. Violations will not be tolerated.
Commonly discussed subjects:
Do not make any threads on Rodents in the game. They have been found a long time ago in the Dark Valley. Yes, Wolf dies in the campfire alot, the Beretta, TOZ, and HPSA weapons are unavailable without a mod that puts them back in. If you're stuck on X-16, do not make a thread. Look through "Playing the Game" section and you will find NUMEROUS threads on that subject! The things throwing objects around are called "Poltergeists" and they are a cloud of lightning until you kill them, stop making threads on that please. Also, STALKER takes most of its inspiration from Fallout, Roadside Picnic, and the STLAKER movie by Tarkovskiy. You are not being original if you just noticed that and want to make a thread on it. We STALKER forum veterans figured it out a long time ago and discussed it to death. Also, STALKER is getting a sequel, it would be a good thing, yes. It's a prequel called Clear Sky, and it's the STLAKER GSC promised us all those years ago, yet was not able to fully realize due to time constraints. Please, do not make anymore threads on STALKER's similarity to Roadside Picnic or Tarkovskiy's Stalker movie. It's een discussed before. Please don't make threads on the subjects mentioned just now.
Keep in mind that proper grammar is preferred so we can understand what you're saying. Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT spam other peoples' e-mails if you're pissed off at them. We will find out who you are. Political discussions are off-topic and should be posted either in the Off-Topic section, or in the Bar thread. Country-bashing is ignorant, rude, and will not be tolerated. We appreciate constructive criticism, but trolls will be weeded out and punished. That means constructive threads are acceptable...but "OMG STALKER SUCKS LMFAO!!!!1" threads will be deleted.

Note: I am not a racist or have hatred toward any country. I hate everything and everyone that crosses me equally. Glad to have cleared that up.
EDIT: Please, before you do ANYTHING after registering (since you never read the rules anyway) use the search function! Please use the search function even though it's broken! We have many threads on rat sightings, X16 and 18 labs, Tarkovskiy's movie, where to find ammo, Wolf dying in campfires, and how to get a TOZ-34, HPSA, Beretta, and other hidden guns, and well as a seperate section for your computer's problems that don't allow you to play STALKER. Ive seen over a half mill 'Wolf is dead' or 'HALP IM STUCK IN X18(/X16)' threads and i havent even been here for that long.
So that kind of makes me wonder, do you people even know its there?

P.S. The search function may be broken or find the wrong stuff, but still use it. It comes up with stuff occasionally, and if that fails, look around the forum yourself.
