I'd like to point out that a couple of these developers worked on Clear Sky, Call of Pripyat and Metro: Last Light.
And one of those developers should be very familiar to fans of CoP (as well as ill-fated Kickstarter campaigns): https://www.linkedin.com/in/peter-dushinsky-2449562a

Yes, some of the Areal guys went on to make We Are the Dwarves through Kiev, Ukraine based company Whale Rock Studios. It still got made even after a failed Kickstarter. The ironic thing is that MDT ltd. was behind the anti-Areal campaign, telling everyone those guys were scam artists. So far they themselves had 2 Kickstarters with nothing to show the backers.

Kickstarter projects

Ever so many months, after squandering all of the Kickstarter funds given
for "The Seed", MDT will issue another set of low-quality, cheap to make
playing cards to squeeze some more bucks out of the mindless followers.
The last time it was a commemorative set about the Chernobyl disaster
Anniversary that was in very bad taste and gave nothing to the victims.

True, and Alexey Sityanov went on to release Sketch Tales after its Kickstarter campaign fizzled out. A lot of legitimate productivity coming from former members of the ol' Areal team, and yet The Seed is now closing in on two years since original target release date. Maybe when MDT Ltd's funds from the Chernobyl Memorial Playing Cards run out they can whip up some Fukushima Memorial Beach Towels or something to keep that sweet money train rolling.

It's a shame as it's yet another black mark against the Stalker name as that's what they're associated with. It makes them look just as bad as West games, I'm glad I didn't back it..

EDIT: If I'm honest I'd probably be claiming a refund by now. As mentioned after making such a big deal about pointing out scammers they should of made sure there own project got out the door. There's rumours that they are soon starting another version of Misery, if so they need to get there priorities sorted.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1752350052/uboot-a-ww2-survival-sandbox/posts/1669582

I'm glad I backed this one and am looking forward to it. They've got a good momentum going and plenty of interest from the right people & places.

Deadalus

Daedalus – is a thriller hard sci-fi adventure video game. You play an astronaut aboard the Daedalus Space Station, a man plagued by prophetic nightmares of death and destruction. You tell yourself they are only dreams, but after the first crewmate dies… what will you tell yourself then?

Unknown Realm: An 8-bit RPG for PC and Commodore 64

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stirringdragongames/unknown-realm-an-8bit-rpg-for-pc-and-commodore-64?ref=video

being an avid C64 user since 1983-84 and still actively using it today, this is an interesting premise indeed, especially with the feelies accompanying the product at hand - also interesting choice to use cartridge-format, since the C64 was mainly Tape and Floppy-drive-based (although a lot of games and applications were released on Cartridge), as this eases out the need for swapping floppies, as well as them being able to cram a whole lot more into the game

in this time and age where there's a new 'oldskool-looking' game released every other week, it's nice to see a true OldSkool product being made with such effort and care
