A clothes stash bunker ( to me ) is the greatest prize. I got stuck with
a medical supplies Prepper Stash in Pleasant Valley and a food stash in
Mystery Lake which wasn't special at all. The Expedition Parka is the
most valued piece of clothing in the entire Game. I only found one in
my Game and I had to wait until the very last level and climb the very
top of Timberwolf Mountain to the plane wreckage to finally get it. The
Fisherman's sweater is the most valuable sweater in the entire Game.
I wear two of them at all times as an inner and an outer layer. I wear
Snow Pants on the outside. My favorite inner jacket and inner pants
are the Army jacket and Army pants. I wear the Gauntlets as the best
gloves in game, the Balaclava and Fleece Cowl on my head, 2 sets of
Wool Longjohns, 2 sets of Climbing Socks and the Mukluks as the best
shoes in the Game. No animals skins. Too heavy. Bad mobility penalty.
This Game has been very stable for me. Every once in a great while
it will crash just as I'm trying to leave a building or when entering one.
If you do a lot of activity inside like moving stuff around ( right click on
items to pick them up and move. Good for stocking items on shelves )
or creating stuff at the workbench, and fear losing your progress if you
leave, it's good to sleep or play cards for an hour to save your progress.
What's going on? Have you climbed to the top of Timberwolf Mountain yet?

127 days into my stalker game in D.P at the moment and then I'll have a crack at T.M.
Stalkers obviously harder than Voyager but once established surviving becomes routine; I found another Arctic Parka and its becoming too comfortable.
I still save periodically and have yet to try a run without saving, perhaps this is the way to go to make it more challenging. As with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I enjoy the early part of the game where I'm struggling and tend to get bored when I'm established.
Go to Timberwolf Mountain and wipe the boredom right off your face.

Had a bit of fun running from a bear.
I thought the back stairs of the whaling hanger were safe but buloo didn't just come into the closed off area but followed me up the stairs. I managed to shoot him but he then fell and died on top of a load of gear which I can't get to until he degrades.
Be sure to harvest any dead animals completely. This means remove all
meat, skin and guts. If you leave a single item behind, the dead animal
may remain there for several days. All items must be harvested for you
to have it disappear the quickest. I've had Bears scramble up on rocks
that I didn't think they could reach me after shooting them with my gun
or bow & arrow. What sucks is sometimes they will tear up clothing. I
lost a fleece cowl that was reduced to 0% and beyond repair and worst,
another time my rifle was knocked from my hands and where it flew to
was beyond recovery in the Game ( dropped out of level ) and I never
saw it again. I'm a lot more careful after those incidents with Bears.
